Suzy Wojcik, 75, of the Oregon Track Club, took two silver medals at the USATF National Masters Championships in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, held July 13-16.  She threw the hammer  24.30M (79’8”) and the weight 8.78M (28’80”)  She was recently (Sunday, July 16, 2017) featured in the Lifestyle section of the Register Guard, Page 1, in an article by Carolyn Kortge regarding lifelong athletes still feeling the thrill of competition.
